I don't know about anybody else, but this guy is killing me.
All of which suggests this is a double-post I couldn't find and my spirits will soon be as low as they are now high. posted by yerfatma at 7:31 AM on May 25, 2006
These are very cool. Thanks. posted by jacquilynne at 7:35 AM on May 25, 2006
I like this a lot, which, oddly, also makes me think that I will soon be brought low by some realization of abject inadequacy or something. posted by OmieWise at 7:44 AM on May 25, 2006
On the edge of my coffee table I can see a pile of old magazines. posted by Joeforking at 7:44 AM on May 25, 2006
The best art for me is just a quarter twist away from the banal daily grind. This is it. Thanks. posted by planetkyoto at 7:47 AM on May 25, 2006
Spotlight on Irritable Bowel Syndrome and There are otters in my spinal column would have to be my favourites. posted by fire&wings at 8:05 AM on May 25, 2006
I love home-made postcards! Thanks for posting, yerfatma. I wish I'd thought of this. posted by WidgetAlley at 8:06 AM on May 25, 2006
Awesome, airguitar! Thanks. posted by yerfatma at 8:23 AM on May 25, 2006
Some are better than others. A few made me laugh out loud. The explanations under them almost always diffuse the joke. posted by ColdChef at 8:25 AM on May 25, 2006
That's nice airguitar. posted by OmieWise at 8:25 AM on May 25, 2006
Thanks, yerfatma. This post reminded me of what the internet is once used to be: people posting cool shit for other people to see, and not asking anything in return. posted by slatternus at 8:51 AM on May 25, 2006
Thanks, yerfatma. good stuff! posted by shoepal at 9:44 AM on May 25, 2006
I give all my magazines to my neighbor, who has two little girls. But, the minute my son says he's 'met someone,' I'll start hoarding...
Thanks, yerfatma, and airguitar, too. I always like it when something gets me thinking about being a grandmother. posted by taosbat at 10:07 AM on May 25, 2006
Thanks for the link. There's some good stuff here — as slatternus says, it's just a guy having fun, not a corporation trying to market something by pretending to be cool. (As a ‘white people’ myself, I enjoyed this one.) ColdChef is right, though, he should just do it, not explain them.
What's not fun is the site design — having to go back to the main page every time, instead of just from one postcard to the next. posted by LeLiLo at 10:14 AM on May 25, 2006
The postcards are a crapshoot but that dogblog is 100% gold
Agree completely. I would like to see this guy and the Dog Whisperer in a fight to the death. It would be like a duel between two less-lame, terrestial Aquamen. Except summoning dogs is tough and the last one to run out of biscuits would probably win. posted by yerfatma at 10:16 AM on May 25, 2006
nice. he needs someone to sponser a show. posted by shockingbluamp at 12:35 PM on May 25, 2006
