Is that the correct verb to describe it? It seems such a novel way of dying I feel it ought have a word coined just for it. Suitsplosion? Suiticide?

It's been my long experience that for 404 errors it isn't the computer that needs slapped so much as the person sitting behind it.

"The first word in this song is discorporate. It means to leave your body
Discorporate & come with me
Shifting; drifting
Cloudless; starless
Wah Wah
Unbind your mind
There is no time
To lick your stamps
And paste them in
DISCORPORATE"
yes, yes, I know, a mind leaving a body is not quite the same as a body ceasing to be an integrated whole

Meanwhile, over at Bloomberg Politics:
A 404 error a is a big f'in deal.
And why is their 500 error not 999?

He's probably smashing the computer like that because he wants you to know it's a HTTP error, not a HTML error.
