Cat-Scan.comis one of the strangest sites I've seen in some time. I have no idea how these people got their cats wedged into their scanners, or why.

Oh my. Seven years. Let me be the nearly last to wish Matt a Happy Anniversary (He knows as well as anyone, this site is more like a marriage than a baby - it's the users who are the children), and, thinking back on all that has happened in those seven years... I think I'll need extra antidepressives today.

According to the official archives, even though I was #206 to sign on to this thing, my own anniversary of participation won't be until February 9th. And I am shocked - shocked - to realize that nearly all my early contributions were either WeirdNewsFilter (with expired links to Yahoo News), A-List Blog Happenings or MetaTalk Topics Before There Was MetaTalk. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize. I was also personally responsible for the First Annual Anniversary/Cat-Scan Thread, albeit a day early (with the excuse of taking a collection for a gift - which I never made happen). Anyway, it does my heart good to know that something I started has become a tradition somewhere.
