"Hang on, lads. I've got a great idea. Get my Legos!"

"You must have shot an awful lot of Legos sir." The Italian Job trailer, done in Legos. It's amateurish and it's YouTube, but it's only 50 seconds and it's really charming if you're a fan of the movie. There's a serialized version of the whole movie (part 1 and part 2). Part 2 is much better because it has the heist and the aftermath. Lorna, Big William and Camp Freddie are miscast, but otherwise it's pretty good.

Wasn't that movie just an extended ad for the Mini?

No. Old minis are just inherently awesome.

The 2003 version with Marky Mark? Yes. But only philistines think of the remake first.

Neat! Too bad he picked such a shitass movie to do it for though.

Worth it for Benny Hill tho.

Remake? What remake? Only fools and philistines even acknowledge the possibility that such a thing could exits.

There's no remake of the Wicker Man or Rollerball either.

Keep in mind that this was typed by a citizen of a country whose greatest cinematic achievement was the original "Porky's."

The original Italian Job is wonderfully funny, and I wanted to like this Lego trailer more than I actually did.

I was very impressed by how much it looked like Michael Caine. I liked the explosion effects too.

Also, the plural's Lego! Bah. Two nations divided by a common language, etc...

I think you mean it was our greatest money maker. Why? Stupid Americans with more money than brains.

Have you seen it as an adult? It's a ridiculously unfunny contrived disaster. Just my opinion, of course.

Again, neat Lego stunt.

So you're saying that "Porky's II" is better than the original and we were just too dumb to recognize that in the US? Or are you cheating and picking the Margaret Trudeau sex tape?

The original Italian Job is fantastic. I haven't seen the remake, because that would just be wrong, but I'm sure that this lego version is way better anyway. Thanks!
