You're absolutely right, and thanks a bunch for helping me get through the rest of the workday. posted by scratch at 10:50 AM on April 3, 2007
I missed every single question on the "1990's PGA Winners" quiz.
Ditto "American Idol First-Season Runners-Up".
Ditto "Snack Foods of the Serengheti".
Why am I so stupid?
Please advise. posted by Dizzy at 10:55 AM on April 3, 2007

How did I not know that the original Playboy mansion was in Chicago? How? How? How? posted by Dave Faris at 10:57 AM on April 3, 2007
Try 1980s television show hangman, Diz. I have a feeling you'll do better at that one. posted by miss lynnster at 11:06 AM on April 3, 2007
Wait... snack foods of the Serenghetti? posted by miss lynnster at 11:10 AM on April 3, 2007
Ranch-flavored Baobobs, Nacho-cassava Hot Pockets; you know, the usual stuff... posted by Dizzy at 11:21 AM on April 3, 2007

How can a site with that domain name not have a Big Lebowski quiz? posted by influx at 1:03 PM on April 3, 2007
You have a point. They have a quiz for Mannequin but not TBL? Looks like it's mentioned in a few of the other quizzes though. posted by miss lynnster at 1:12 PM on April 3, 2007
I got 100% on the Dr. Strangelove quiz! Woo Hoo! posted by MythMaker at 1:14 PM on April 3, 2007
Last micromanaging comment (I promise): the reason there's so much golf on the front page is just because those were apparently added the most recently. There are like 12,000 other non-golf quizzes there. posted by miss lynnster at 1:14 PM on April 3, 2007
awesome... thanks for the link to my latest site. If you have any comments about it, good or bad let me know.
I was going to write a metafilter quiz to see if someone would link to it from the blue. Guess that wasn't needed after all. posted by inthe80s at 2:04 PM on April 3, 2007
inth80s, I just want to say that I miss whatfreaks... Oh well, at least inthe90s is gonna be redone, am i right (hah)? posted by daninnj at 2:18 PM on April 3, 2007
I never had the time to properly devote to whatfreaks, which combined with an increase in adult material on the web coming under increased regulation, just didn't seem worth the effort anymore. I still have all the stuff from the site, so it may still return. Especially now that I've rewritten most of the scripts for amIright that would be shared by it.
inthe90s is definitely getting done over in a couple months. I'm almost done troubleshooting my scripts on inthe80s, which will be used on all the decade sites.
I'm sure this comment is totally uninteresting to everyone but the handful of people on metafilter who have seen the aforementioned sites >grin< Sorry... posted by inthe80s at 3:03 PM on April 3, 2007
If you want it to be possessive, it's just "ITS." But if you want it to be a contraction, it's "IT-apostrophe-S." Scalawag. posted by roll truck roll at 3:19 PM on April 3, 2007
Hey, I didn't say it was my best or most unique post fam. I just thought it was kinda fun is all... posted by miss lynnster at 4:10 PM on April 3, 2007
Hey, don't take offense, miss L... that wasn't snark, actually, although now that I think of it, I see how it could've been interpreted as such. No snark intended! posted by flapjax at midnite at 4:23 PM on April 3, 2007
I'm cruising along and laying waste to the 1970s Who Played a Character quizzes and missed my first question on Round 2, #5, third question: Who played Frank on MASH? Larry Linville isn't even listed as a choice, Wayne Rogers (Trapper John) was declared the correct answer. I appeal to MeFi: do I get to keep my undefeated status or must I cry myself to sleep (kind of a distraction at work)? posted by forrest at 4:28 PM on April 3, 2007
No worries. I just know there's a lot of freaking trivia on the ol' web. Oh, and in my brain. :) posted by miss lynnster at 4:35 PM on April 3, 2007
Trivia is fun, but pop culture has so much of it. And true/false is too easy to beat with some educated guessing. posted by Twang at 7:58 AM on April 4, 2007
