Oh yeah. Solves the NIMBY problem, except, uh, maybe people will make up a NIMSky complaint. Personally, I'd be pleased as punch to have BIG WHOMPIN' GIANT WINDMILLS in my backyard. Especially if I got the 'lectricity for free.

A windmill on a kite! Brill! Probably even takes a lot of the cost out of it, since you don't need a massive, immovable tower to hold it up.
