Powazek on Metafilter Not sure if this has been posted before, but I just found it on a new sub-site of Communication Arts that appears to be more focussed on web design. Derek is writing a book on online communities, but I still got the impression that the interviewer didn't know who he was.
Oh come on, just look at that picture...He LOOKS famous! (and should be cause I like what he has to say.)

What may have been unclear about the "insight" section is that it's going to be a recurring series of interviews with designers. The interviewee gets to pick the project they want to talk about, but the questions are all the same. I was just lucky enough to go first!
And as for that boy band I was in in the 80s, well, I was young and I needed the money....

Eh, he doesn't need an excuse for that. I've seen it, and let me tell you, girls: He definitely puts the "pow!" in Powazek. (Could this thread get any sillier?*)
