Another Saturday lost in a Flash. Thanks! posted by carsonb at 1:20 PM on June 23, 2007
This is a lot harder when you try and use as few moves as possible. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to save your move count if you use the Load Stage feature, so there isn't really any reason to be concerned with the number of moves you actually need.
Entertaining game though. posted by quin at 1:28 PM on June 23, 2007
Argh, totally stuck on 11. Great game though. posted by nkknkk at 1:39 PM on June 23, 2007
11 sucks. By the time I figured it out, and got to 12, I realized that the difficulty level had gone from "fun" to "well, this is going to take a while".
Hint: working backwards is very useful. posted by blacklite at 2:02 PM on June 23, 2007
Yes, please someone help nkknkk and me on 11! Way I see it, there are only two ways you can be situated to start your trip back towards the hole, and neither way is going to let you make the right hand turn. posted by Rock Steady at 2:07 PM on June 23, 2007

Level 28 so far. I like it. It's nice and meditative. posted by painquale at 2:15 PM on June 23, 2007
I'd like to thank the designer for making the game attractive as well as fun. So many of these games look like total ass, and maybe it's just me, but that lowers their appeal. posted by picea at 2:17 PM on June 23, 2007
I'm stuck at 13. This one blows. posted by papakwanz at 2:26 PM on June 23, 2007
picea, you're right, and I suppose I sounded annoyed and bitchy like I often do in my previous comment.
This is a very pretty game in many ways and I quite like it. posted by blacklite at 2:40 PM on June 23, 2007

level 19 - huh? how do I get to the last switch? nice game -- the '2001' wind ambience is a little distracting though. Maybe some light jazz music would be better. posted by Down10 at 6:56 PM on June 23, 2007
empath - which level? 31? from bottom right (BR) get the upper X, then return, progress to top left which lets you do the dance to realign on the right squares and return to the center to get the lower X, then return to TL to jiggle, then BL (and X) and then jiggle again and go through to BR back to TR and exit. posted by devbrain at 6:56 PM on June 23, 2007
nevermind-- passed it, and now up to lvl 25. good game! posted by Down10 at 7:23 PM on June 23, 2007
Ok! finished ..... 32/879021, 33/614955.
Last level .....
Start to the "X":
RRRRULDDLURUURRDRDRULLURDRDDRDLDDRRU
Next, lay your block so the right hand side is on the newly formed block:
DLLUURULUULULDRU
Finally, roll on outta there:

It's 2:45 AM. I just had to get out of bed to play this game because the block was keeping me awake by rolling around my head.
Brilliant. Anybody know the maths underlying the paths? Each level is clearly formally specified in some manner.... posted by fcummins at 3:47 AM on June 24, 2007
I don't see how level 25 is even possible. :( posted by cj_ at 5:10 AM on June 24, 2007
Unbelievably addictive. Spent Saturday getting up to level 25 or some such, swearing frequently at the seemingly impossible switch/teleport/hole combinations.
Thanks for the link! posted by misha at 8:17 AM on June 24, 2007

I can't figure out 16 for the life of me. How do you stop the divided blocks from hooking back up? posted by CunningLinguist at 9:50 AM on June 24, 2007
Got up to 15 so far, will have a go at the rest later. Fun game, thanks! I had some odd keyboard problems though. posted by teleskiving at 10:02 AM on June 24, 2007

Cool game. Am completely stuck on level 27 though, you can only roll on those orange tiles, right? posted by Ms. Next at 2:24 PM on June 24, 2007
Ms. Next -- the orange tiles cannot support the weight of the block by themselves, so no standing upright on them. So you can roll or flip on them, just so long as your "flips" "land" on non-oranges. posted by Rock Steady at 5:36 PM on June 24, 2007
098598 gets you 15, which is where I'm at, and this comment will let me resume later. posted by alexei at 6:53 PM on June 24, 2007

28 is killing me. Anyone have a hint? posted by CunningLinguist at 6:50 AM on June 25, 2007
My husband, damn it, beat the whole game. There are, I believe, thirty-two levels, maybe thirty-three. He's an engineer, and recommends "thinking backwards" to get the answers.
I take frequent breaks to keep me from throwing my computer out the window, and I am on level 25. posted by misha at 9:09 AM on June 25, 2007

Yeah, I got stuck on level 31 and then gave up for a while because I had to archive and install after doing a recommended software update, which was even more masochistic than this game. But only just. posted by misha at 10:44 PM on June 25, 2007
So I was bored and decided to run through this game again. 2615 moves, in just under an hour.
