Our office was having troubles putting a pool together, so we went online and found this interesting free NCAA BB office pool site. Not exactly the best design, but it gets the job done.

I'm not much of a sports guy, but I do love the NCAA tourney! I really enjoyed Yahoo's implementation last year. You can set up a small group, so it's easy to compare your score against your friends' scores. They've also got a "What if" scenario builder which comes in handy after you miss, say, Georgia State whomping Wisconsin in the first round.

For those of you still making your picks, here's a handy guide to winning your office pool.

Call me a sexist pig-ette, but I can't get excited over Men's March Madness. Now if you ask me about The NCAA Women's Final Four, I'm all over it. See the bracket here (link to 89k image). I guess I'll have to rely on Internet broadcasts, because the cable sports channels in Canada aren't paying any attention to the women's tourney. Come to think of it, the national broadcast outlets in the States are ignoring the tournament as well, which really stinks because I won't get to see UGA's wonder twins Kelly and Coco Miller play in their last NCAA tournament. *grumble*

Make sure to catch Tennessee's women too, likorish. They're my pick [yes, we did do the women's bracket at my office] to go all the way....

Go Georgia State Panthers!

I saw that game too, darren. It's nice to see my alma mater do well. I actually felt my heart grow a size bigger today.

I've been watching Tennessee for years. I hope Tamika Catchings isn't as big a flame-out as Chamique Holdsclaw became when she hit the WNBA.

I think the women's game is often more fun to watch but...

My hometown Orangemen are pretty good and the Orangewomen are not, so I follow the men's game. I actually have some idea of the players. And my alma mater plays division 3 ball.

So I've got three reasonable regionals (well, they seemed reasonable before Ohio State and Wisconsin lost) in ESPN.com's men's tournament challenge, and the Orange making an unlikely run to the final, where they lose to Stanford.

I am prepared to offer my picks for the Thursday, March 15th games to anyone, free of charge (100% guaranteed to be correct, where else can you get that offer?)

Go BC!

I was going to say Arkansas all the way in the men's tourney, but they lost last night (not that they had much of a chance beyond that anyway). Durnit. Now I have to root for the SMS Lady Bears! (I apologize for the 95-esque site design... our athletics department has yet to "get" the web.) We've got the all-time NCAA women's basketball career scoring leader, and I'm sure that is all we need to win the tournament! Yeah, right...
