Fake money. Bummer.

It'd be fun to make extra profit while I sit around and not work for my employer.

I just envisioned how much worse the sock-puppeting and hiring Indian upvoters would be if there was real money to make. Nevermind.

To summarise:

1. Setting up a market to trade a commodity for which is there is an effectively limitless supply all provided for nothing.

2. Something which, when it does make money either does so via the advertising it attracts or by leveraging other offline products - blog to book etc.

3. Something which even established brands with vast resources struggle to make much out of.

4. All in fake money.

I'm convinced.

Screw Meta-Markets. And screw you too, MetaFilter! Thanks to mathowie, jessamyn & cortex, not to mention all you other idiots, I'll have to sell my timeshare in the Poconos. Instead of investing on this blue, grey and green crapshoot, I could've poured my revenues into Facebook...
