Why would I play a game when I have done the real thing and achieved a much greater distance? posted by flarbuse at 9:02 PM on November 6, 2007 [1 favorite]
So, I feel like I've played about 5 different versions of this game now. And it's fun, but I feel like I must be missing something. Is there any way to predict where the trampolines will be? posted by roll truck roll at 9:31 PM on November 6, 2007
So It worked for you guys? it just kept firing over and over for me without any interaction on my part. WTF am I doing wrong? posted by Iron Rat at 9:38 PM on November 6, 2007

Here's another version of the distance game, I like it slimtly more than average, but I'd never FPP it. posted by edgeways at 10:43 PM on November 6, 2007
I knew I'd seen this before (not calling double). My girlfriend hated it (which is possibly why I played it for a lot longer than I should've ;-) posted by kisch mokusch at 11:57 PM on November 6, 2007

This game is like 4 years old. There's a reason it hasn't been posted to MeFi in all that time. posted by Eideteker at 4:23 AM on November 7, 2007 [1 favorite]
I don't mean to be a downer or anything, but how has this not been on MeFi before? It's as old as the internet!
And thanks for stealing my morning away from me. posted by CitrusFreak12 at 4:42 AM on November 7, 2007

Dear My Fellow Flash Designers,
If you continue to create UI's with sound that plays on load... and no VOLUME control... I am going to kick you in the stomach.
I never promised that you'd like it, only that you'd click it. posted by blue_beetle at 10:56 AM on November 7, 2007
No reflection on you, bb. What this game doesn't have that Nanaca Crash does (aside from polish, but you can argue polish would ruin a game that's about torturing kittens) is interactivity. NC has just the barest element of "oh crap, I can save/ruin this round for myself". You get three up-intercepts and one recharging downward smash in NC, and there's the element where you control the super attacks when you land on certain girls. You have to pay attention, you have to be engaged. Both games feature a random layout of obstacles and objects, but the added element in NC makes it less of a slot machine. Not a lot; just enough to make for pure addiction. posted by Eideteker at 3:13 PM on November 7, 2007
I'M SORRY I KEEP SAYING ELEMENT! I fail at thesaurus game. posted by Eideteker at 3:14 PM on November 7, 2007
