Interesting post. I was just thinking this morning how long it will be before we can capture and comminicate smell. We can record noise and visualisation to a high degree of perfection. we have yet to reproduce touch or smell or taste.

That link about smell is really interesting. Amazing that we can use salamanders to better understand the human brain! Awesome!
