I was trying to figure out why this sounded so familiar, and I realized it's because we share a ton of the same interests - I keep coming across their site through various means.
They turned me on to Tragsysteme/Structure Systems by Heino Engel, and it changed my life :)

The P_Wall is great, and surprisingly simple to make: just plaster, dowels, and fabric. No CNC machines or equivalent are required. posted by Pyry at 6:53 PM on January 18, 2008
