maybe if my job involved dancing with walruses, i wouldn't always feel like offing myself. posted by CitizenD at 1:12 PM on April 11, 2008 [7 favorites has favorites]
Maybe I just set the bar too low, but I was 100% expecting this to be a crappy flash animation of a walrus. I had my snark gun cocked and loaded, but then I clicked the link, and oh shit it's a real walrus!
Help, I can't stop talking! Is correct. I thought it was going to be animated for sure. Love it. Very funny stuff. posted by HighTechUnderpants at 1:18 PM on April 11, 2008

You want to know my deep personal shame? That walrus has better rhythm than I do. No wonder he gets all the ladies. posted by quin at 1:32 PM on April 11, 2008

What if it turns out that the walrus has trained the woman to dance to a popular 1990s walrus-screeching noise and it's just a coincidence that it syncs up with Smooth Criminal? posted by mattbucher at 1:44 PM on April 11, 2008 [4 favorites has favorites]
All I can see when I watch that is the hours and hours of training for each and every step that went into accomplishing the dance. I would like to believe the walrus is a happy go lucky aquatic life form but I just don't feel such is substantiated. There is nothing but tedium and mechanism in that video. The girl was faintly attractive but she would never go out with me and probably has a high testosterone alpha male boyfriend. posted by norabarnacl3 at 1:45 PM on April 11, 2008 [4 favorites has favorites]
