Until this moment, I never realized how much he sounds like Kermit the Frog.

Enough with the "that is all"s. For reals.

Ok. I take it back. I'll find more.

I'm sorry.

Lies!

I do a decent Ray Romano impression. I'm just never sure if I'm doing an impression of him, Kermit The Frog, or Henchmen 24 from The Venture Brothers. (he's the one who pulls up in the car.)

It just goes to show that even parodies of Ray Romano aren't funny.

That is all.

Any post that comes with a pre-apology has to be a winner, right?

I'm with you, elwoodwiles. (..Having spent about a decade retorting to the title of that perplexingly successful sitcom with a plaintive "I'm Someone!")

Er, "Somebody"

I managed to last 43 seconds. Any longer and I would have started punching myself.

What'd you score?

I didn't even click the link, loq. I think that means I won.

Exactly the sort of thing you'd see on SNL at 12:54.

No, no. You have to subject yourself to as much as you can stand. This isn't golf scoring.

Try to at least stick it out till he does Annie Lennox.

On a recent Family Guy they did a roundtable with Al Michaels, Harold Ramis, Ray Romano and Kermit the Frog, and they all sound the same.

SLYT.

[channeling Stavros] Stop that.

That is all.

That too.

That is all.

Dammit! I want to see that, but the lawyers at Fox seem to have beaten me to it. It's gone from everywhere Google thinks it might be.

Why is this noteworthy?

Y'know what'd make a good MeFi post? Ray Romano sticking his head in a wood chipper! Ray Romano being eaten alive by pirhanas! Ray Romano plummeting to his death cuz his parachute didn't open! Ray Romano slipping on a banana peel and breaking his neck! Ray Romano getting run over by a bus! Ray Romano freezing to death in the frozen tundra or northern Quebec! Ray Romano electrocuted by a hair dryer inside a bathtub!

I just realized if we EVER have to do an obit thread for Ray Romano here in The Blue? I'm gonna be so embarrassed I just posted that.

Or if we don't.

Me, I'd be embarrassed to admit that I cared that much either way about Ray Romano.

I thought this was fucking hilarious.

I thought it was funny. I want to nit pick it though. The natural comedic build up is to Romano just doing lots of "oh's" like you hit at it and then eventually deliver it with him singing the bass line (even though it was guitar {right?}) in seven nation army. I don't think it was the funniest section on its own, but it is a good cap for the thing, when compared to him keeping on telling the same joke.

I do not love Raymond.

No, I do not.

OK, I laughed. The Avril Lavigne bit got me. That is all.

I hate his sitcom, and most sitcoms in general, but Ray Romano's standup act is really quite good.

My new landlord sounds exactly like Ray Romano. I don't like Ray Romano, but I love his voice. This is basically the perfect situation for me.
