Puppy photo booth and the bunny falling asleep at the desk are the two best parts. I love this. posted by MaryDellamorte at 9:31 PM on February 19
This is effective viral marketing, except that I had no idea what they were selling for the first (cuter) half. And after the second half, I'm not sure why I would want it, since I'm not a hedgehog bent on world domination. As far as you know. posted by smartyboots at 10:09 PM on February 19
Good god let me buy! Whatever it is I want - nay, NEED - to buy it right this instant!

If they replaced all animals in commercials with hedgehogs, they would have complete control of my mind. posted by orme at 4:27 AM on February 20
I, for one, believe that a world dominated by hedgehogs would be far, far cuter that the one we're living in today. In fact, i may spend most of the morning just saying "hedgehogs." posted by CheeseDigestsAll at 6:38 AM on February 20
Am i the only one who thought the hedgehog was scary? posted by storybored at 7:33 AM on February 20
I took a marketing class for work months ago, which aired that "herding cats" ad. Everyone thought it was great, then the teacher was all, "What was it for?" Nobody knew or cared, they just wanted cats. Same deal here.
Moral of the story: pet store ads get everyone's attention, and could actually like, sell baby pets?

once they clue in...
Sometimes it seems like a lot of folks in a lot of Creative depts. have scammed their employers in to funding the sort of short films they could never have pulled off in art school.
I hate advertising, but that thought makes me happy. Or maybe, I hate advertising - and so that thought makes me happy. posted by regicide is good for you at 7:04 PM on February 20
