This has a lot to do with the 80's, and also a lot to do with decades that were not the 80's; but it has even more to do with every image aggregation site on the internet. posted by Science! at 9:22 PM on April 12
If the point is to not get it at all, then I get the point. Otherwise, I'm just lost. Anyone want to explain it to me? posted by donnagirl at 9:36 PM on April 12

It's just random shit. Don't try to contextualize or organize it beyond that central principle and you'll be ok. posted by Burhanistan at 9:38 PM on April 12
Everyone remembers that Billy Squier video for "Rock Me Tonite" as having killed his career. But what I find remarkable is that the first 3/4 of it is just him dancing alone on a set. That's very difficult for even trained dancers to pull off. [The only one I can think of offhand is Janet Jackson in "The Pleasure Principle" - and she had a much better director and editor backing her up.] In these circumstances, it was a suicide mission. posted by Joe Beese at 9:39 PM on April 12
I think tofutti break references the Mr. Show sketch. For what, I do not know. (I got to promote Mr. Show, so I count this as a good FPP.) posted by shadytrees at 9:51 PM on April 12 [1 favorite has favorites]
Awesome, another image aggregation site. The internet doesn't have enough of those. posted by dead cousin ted at 9:56 PM on April 12

To be fair (but not to excuse the pointless, vacuous time suck that that site is), it just seems like some random dude's tumblr blog and he offers attribution. He doesn't even have any ads. It's far more innocuous than some ad laden site that steals images and articles from other sites and doesn't attribute them. posted by Burhanistan at 10:15 PM on April 12
Yeah, this is a lot better than the ad-ridden shit blogs. Still blah though. posted by dead cousin ted at 10:51 PM on April 12
