Really interesting pieces.

I'm a bit confused about whether these kids are from wealthier families -- the articles give the impression that they're poor (their families living in small, cramped apartments), but then Shehade was able to study in the US for the summer, and not through a grant.

The story in the third link has a cinematic quality: the boy hanging out outside the studio, randomly called in, slowly becoming an expert at creating and repairing beautifully sounding instruments.
