The We-Did-It-Our-Way Tax Relief Anti-Massacre Page one guy describes how he spent the tax rebate check, and invites you to tell him how you did. (the title's a bit of a nod to Alice's Restaurant, fyi)
I swear the first thing I thought of was Laverne & Shirley... not alice's restaurant. Too much tv in the 80s I suppose...
"Nothin's gonna turn us back now,
Straight ahead and on the track now.
We're gonna make our dreams come true,
Doin' it our way."
"And we'll do it our way, yes our way.
Make all our dreams come true,
And do it our way, yes our way,
Make all our dreams come true"

Shoepal -- if I said "Wild Thing", would you respond "The Animals" or "Tone Loc"? :-)
I haven't even gotten the letter telling me how much money I'm going to get, so I haven't even decided how to spend it yet, but I think I could do better than a handful of books and CDs and some back-to-school supplies. *YAWN*

I'm not getting a dime. I filed seperately, but my parents claimed the tuition tax credit on their returns and that, apparently, disqualifies me.

In my state (Connecticut) the Governor matches names with deligent dads. They will not be getting their 300 bucks back. On the other hand, they saved thousands by not supporting their children (alimony, child support). And if they try to sue they will be in deeper trouble. Ah, well. They still come out ahead.

I am personally going to spend mine on shovels, rakes and implements of destruction. I'm going to take pictures of the approach, the getaway, the northwest corner and the southwest corner (not to mention the aerial photography).

I always wondered if anyone's actually tried Arlo's "I wanna kill, Doc... kill, kill, kill! trick, and what happened...
