Imagine if, even when talking in a normal voice, everything you said was Auto-Tuned. That is the power of Meh$ha.

OK, that was somewhat funnier than I expected it to be.

This should be combined with the "funny" thread as an example of what is not funny. People trying too hard to be funny fail when they are trying this hard to be funny by doing so.

I expected to be thoroughly disappointed. But the disappointment was somewhat less than thorough.

Now all Ke$ha needs to do is get thrown in the dumpster. Please.
Pretty please?

Ah...I see.

Hmm.

Before clicking 2bucksplus's comment, I had no clue who La Roux was. After watching what I could of her video, I can only assume she was auditioning for the roll of Ron Weasley; she's a dead ringer for Rupert Grint!
posted by bjork24 at 1:48 PM on August 27, 2010

For the role too. But, in my mind, she might as well be auditioning for some of Ron's baked goods as well.

I was expecting something funny and this is dumb.

Hmm that's not the funny Ke$ha parody.

Hmm that's not the funny Ke$ha parody .

Far, far better. I liked the crying kid best.

1. take a flamboyant pop act
2. put into an everyday situation

I liked "KESHA MUST ACT LIKE A DRUNKEN WHORE AT ALL TIMES" with the slash through the dollar sign added with pen.

My two favourite La Roux remixes:
- In for the Kill - Skream Remix
- I'm Not Your Toy - Data Remix

Ron Weasley; she's a dead ringer for Rupert Grint

Close. Bastard love child of Rupert Grint and Tilda Swinton, doing a bad Annie Lennox impression.

If you take La Roux and put her in, say, an outdoor event in Kansas City, in the middle of summer, she will play exactly 4 songs before complaining about the heat and leaving.

I honestly thought she was wearing her gold foil jacket for heat dissipation.
