Snoop Dogg Joins the War on Cybercrime

From 187 to an undercover cop to obey the law... I suppose if they got Flava Flav, Snoop was easy pickings.

Smearing hacking in general is easy if you want to ignore all the reasons why people hack computer systems.

T'would make a lot more sense to put down Script Kiddies.

So that we can see a rap battle between the real Black Hats and the Script Kiddies.

That would be a much better commercial.

You’ll also get two tickets to a Snoop Dogg concert and a new laptop pimped out with Norton Internet Security 2011.

I'm not sure which of these I want less.

I'll head over to the haters section and shut up.

Little known fact: 82% of all script kiddies think to themselves, "Hmm, what would Snoop do?" before committing crimes in cyberspace.

I don't think we'll need two sections here.

Heh. My favorite thing about the contest is that the grand prize is listed as: "2 tickets to Snoop concert, meet his mgmt/agent, Toshiba laptop." Because that's who we've all always wanted to meet. Snoop Dogg's agent. Or, y'know, maybe his publicist.

... although, actually, meeting his publicist or his agent might be really interesting. You could ask the questions on everybody's mind, like 'okay, seriously – True Blood? "Oh Sookie?" WTF?'

Okay, I'm not that into rapping about Norton or anything, but ... there are four videos up now. Just four. And I'm kind of loving that four people wrote songs and recorded themselves ... in their kitchens? in their bedrooms? in front of their in-focus shoe collection? while wagging their finger at their keyboard?? It's kind of interesting to think about these people who, rather than just sitting around idly commenting like myself, actually decided to make a song and post a video.

Back in the 80's, I had a paying gig in a 50's cover band. We had commissioned a poster for a show, had them all printed up, and hung all over town, when someone pointed out that it announced that we played "Doo-Whop" music.
