Snakes of Avalon is a hallucinatory (windows only) point and click adventure game created using AGS by Igor Hardy and Alex vand der Wijst with soundtrack by Thomas Regin for the "one month, one room" MAGS competition. youtube trailer.

The in-game menu (for saving your game and presumably loading although I beat it in one sitting) is accessed by clicking on the bar's menu to the top-left, above the door.

I read that first link as "Snakes of Aviation". Now all I can think of is Samuel L Jackson.

This is so ugly and obnoxious I will from now on show it to people when they ask what I don't like.

Ugly I can certainly understand, but obnoxious how?

Wow. That is one unreliable narrator.

Ugly, yes, but deliberately so, and certainly not obnoxious. In turns funny, sad, and bizzare. Very unique game, thanks juv3nal!

Yeah, I avoided editorializing in the post proper, but I really like this game (else I wouldn't have posted about it). Especially how it does some [spoiler].

Thomas Regin, incidentally, did music for Emerald City Confidential which is pretty great (though not free).
