Parrots are so metal. It doesn't surprise me at all that he was able to pronounce the rock dots in "flööööör!" posted by quin at 5:04 PM on December 17, 2010 [6 favorites]
It's always weird when the cover version is better than the original. posted by phunniemee at 5:30 PM on December 17, 2010 [6 favorites]

Having never heard the song, I thought it was funny. Then I heard the song and am really impressed by the bird. Really made it his own. posted by From Bklyn at 4:27 AM on December 18, 2010
The parrot could probably try out for a part in any number of Saw remakes or Rob Zombie flicks. posted by The Giant Squid at 4:44 AM on December 18, 2010
Fucking hipster parrot, thinking he's so "edgey" by churning out a home-studio "gritty" cover of a metal classic "reimagined" as a love ballad. Ooh, how original. Bet he "chilled out, bra" afterwards with a PBR, and had to be talked out of wearing his favorite tweed flat cap during the video.
Fucking hipsters. posted by IAmBroom at 11:15 PM on December 18, 2010
