Forty years ago, three civil rights workers, Michael Schwerner, James Chaney, and Andrew Goodman were murdered in Mississippi by KKK members. Edgar Killen, who allegedly engineered the killings, pleads innocent.

Racism cuts both ways--it eats you up, as obvious in the New Yorker peace. Granted, the guy should be thrown in the slammer, but there's a certain justice just in the fact that he's a horrible, twisted old man.

He probably kicks his dogs a lot.
