quite a large quicktime, on a lumbering, barely head-above-water server. i'm on a hot shit cable link, going on 4 minutes now with no movie yet. content review pending :-)

Will you lot get off so I can download it???

Would that have seemed nearly as elegant if set to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody...or Welcome to the Jungle?

very nice, only 5 megs actually, but good luck viewing it. 14 minutes to cough it up here.

Kind of a cool combination of Yugop's Blackribbon piece and something by John Maeda. Very nice. Considering the domain though, I would have thought the letters would look like this.

Well, the server crapped out before I could download it all... I only got up to "N". Someone please tell me how it ends.

I mirrored it here.

More alphabet fun since the other link seems to on overload...

Though this link is far less elegant.

Thanks for the mirror, Matt.

For some reason this video reminded me of that guy who drew a presentation with sand... though for the life of me I can't find the link.

Lovely. I'll forward this to the aficionados at Typophile.

Bitdamaged link is well worth it, the letter animation is clearly not.

I was hoping that "as I've never seen ir" would involve some sort of brilliant conceptuatlization or, at the very least, naked women.

There was an amazing font-based illustration that came out a few years ago that I can't track down. It was like a flyover simulation of Manhattan, but everything was done in type (thousands of huge skyscrapers were built with the letters "BUILDING").

Ring any bells? It was freaking amazing. I think it was a part of a subscription art DVD thing.

Add in children screaming out the names of each letter, and this reminds me of many many hours of Sesame Street.
