Blockland is a non-competitive multiplayer game where you build with interconnecting bricks. (via del.games)

I usually don't have much time for games but I really like the "robots building things" type. A Mac game I wasted way too much time with was Gridz. Can anyone recommend something similar for Windows?

Is it just me, or is this guy just asking Lego to come down on his head like a ton of ... never mind.

I think this looks amazing. What Sims Online should have looked like.
I think the guy is trying to talk to Lego about branding. If they don't go for it, he'll probably update his block characters so as not to break copyright.

Hint: Not all of the servers are non-competitive, look for a description like "for builders..." or words to that effect. Otherwise you will be pelted with arrows, spears and swords the moment you spawn.

I actually tried this out and was pretty disappointed. Not to be a gamer geek, but it's pretty ugly.

If you like build-it games, Second Life is pretty impressive.

I've got a paid account for SL, there is a significant learning curve to building, that doesn't exist for this. I've not joined any servers, just played locally, but can build and paint and such. The screen shots are impressive.
