“Balbir Singh Sodhi had moved to the United States from India in 1989.

His cousin says Sodhi didn't have any enemies. ”

Apparently his cousin is wrong - I have seen the enemy, and he is us. I can only hope these hate crimes will be aggressively investigated and prosecuted.

This is going to happen. Some people are in a blind rage. They have a couple of beers and take off with a gun. We don't have that many folks from the Arab counties were I am at, but the few we do have are being threatened. One fellow has been in this part of Texas for more than 20 years has a nice store, does a good business, part of the Chamber of Commerce, but he has been threatened. People see a dark skin color and have a knee-jerk reaction.

I missed the part of that article that makes the title of it make sense.

This is what we call American terrorism and supreme hypocrisy. Oh, and also stupidity for not even recognizing that India is not an Arab state.

In addition to giving blood, I suggest everyone eat out more often at restaurants that rednecks will consider Arab because these businesses will be suffering financially from the idiotic backlash.

OK. This is the best example of most Americans not knowing any thing other than whose making playoffs. Balbir Singh Sodhi is a Sikh name. He is not even MUSLIM. Sikhs as a nation are part of India. They have their own religion. Just because they have a beard and wear a turban, some a$$hole "THOUGHT" that he was Muslim and killed him.

God Bless His Soul

adnanbwp: No, it's an example of an ignorant asshole resident of the United States, and others like him, not of "Americans."

ray, adnan said MOST americans. not "americans".

Even so, this constitutes a hasty and unfair generalization.

That's true, Foxy, but I unfortunately have to think that, maybe, most Americans don't know these distinctions...

I think that even most of those that don't know these distinctions, know that they don't know.

I think that is, unfortunately, probably true. However, I am not yet willing to concede that most Americans don't know "any thing other than whose making playoffs."

Didnt mean to pass a judgement.

A lot of residents of the United States do not know any thing of International level other than who is the Japanese player playing in the Baseball League.

Does that satisfy every one ?

hehe thanks.
