It's all right, 'cause I'm Saved by the Bell!

Love "Saved by the Bell," but thought the original had too little gore? Have I got the video for you! (SLYT; NSFW and certainly not safe if you're squeamish)

That was great until I figured out that the song wasn't supposed to be part of the parody. Those even look like the same sets. Could it be?

Had the sound muted. THought I might have been missing something, so turned the volume up.

Muted it again and enjoyed entirely more.

Seriously, that song is as bad as Rebecca Black's stuff.

And this is just an ad for the next installment in the seemingly never-ending Final Destination series, is it not?

Whoa. Tough crowd. Remind me never to ask for critiques on Metafilter.

As far as I can tell, it's a music video made to further the musical ambitions of one of the "Final Destination" actors.

Sadly, I actually would probably pay to see an entire Saved By The Final Destination movie, provided all the old SBTB actors signed on.

It's different when it's the MeFite making the music. (It isn't, right?) And when it's... not this.

The song is dreadful.

The video was so-so.

Actually, I agree that I don't think I'd ever play this song without the video, but I find it pretty catchy with the video. I think one of the main reasons I like it is because it sounds like a song that Zach Morris would write.

I'm sensing a theme. Here's the same dude butchering the Talking Heads in an American Psycho parody.

But that one is soooo much better.

Cute idea, but the first death was really the funniest one, and the others couldn't live up to it's simplicity and panache. The "comedy" in this is in having these things happen and basically go unremarked upon, you know, for absurdity. Dave Koechner is a great re-cast for Principal Belding but drawing out his getting scalped kills the gut-level humor reaction, for me.

Not bad, but this is better for anybody feeling nostalgic.

How did that woman get the pencils stuck in her face when they were aimed right at her sternum when she fell?

The first accident was awesome and everything was downhill after that.

That's shockingly bad. Does he not understand the theme, or is he trying to show how edgy he is by taking a watery shit all over it? I thought that video in the FPP was pretty weak but a nice effort, but having seen his take on Naive Melody all I can say is "fuck that guy."

Which one is that?

It didn't work for me because I am a little too old (about 5 years too old) to have watched and enjoyed Saved By The Bell.

Now a Degrassi Junior High parody is something I could sink my teeth into...

That guy does a pretty damn spot-on Patrick Bateman in the American Psycho parody. Especially the smarmy grin.

I loved it, particularly the homage to Jessie Spano's 1-episode caffeine pill addiction .

And for those complaining about the quality of the song itself, it could always be worse.

I'm not watching this if there's no Miss Bliss.

This is cute and a charming low budget music-y thing when you think its a low budget way for a super handsome guy to try to become famous by going viral. (I first came through it through another place but on s site.)

When it turns out it's a Final Destination 5 plug -- which means the low-budgety-ness makes it studio-produced and access to the former studios/creation of similar was through that, it becomes lots less charming.
