Is there an award category for "Vimeo videos that play"? Vimeo wants so much bandwidth that all I ever see is a static image.

These vimeo directors don't grasp that short films work best when they span a small amount of time -- a day or less. They end up making emotional shortcuts trying to cram everything in that turn their films into long commercials.

here's an example of a well-done short film I found randomly a few weeks ago on vimeo that only has one like and wasn't nominated.
