In my experience, news like this is best served with pie.

I have no idea what it means in this context, but "Coffee & Pie, Oh My" is a reference to Brick.

Also, maybe that guy could start asking people for their Socials or something.

Did the combination of death and pie in the FPP make anyone else wistful about Pushing Daisies?

Rhubarb is also my favorite.

I like rhubarb pie so much that I have a hard time believing people when they say they don't like rhubarb pie.

Okay, that was one moderately funny joke spread out over 10 minutes where the punchline was driven by the extent of human misery.

A one panel comic could have communicated the joke, and I could have otherwise done without the emotional torture porn. Colour me not impressed.

I had to give up not long in as the speaker's echo was making it bloody impossible for my tinnitus-tainted tympanums to tell what he was saying and there were no subs.

(My shameful secret - I watch most everything with subs on any more to reduce struggling)
