"I have never seen anything so beautiful in all my life as the melting freeways of the USA, the next nature of glitched-out Google projections."

I read such hyperbole and think, "Visit Yosemite. In person." Then I read that the author is from Australia, and instead think "Go scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef." I realize the most beautiful thing he's ever seen is not a Google Earth rendering, but a sentence like that makes my eyes roll straight into the back of my head.
