Your link may not be generating a lot of commentary, but I found the web site very nice. I passed it on to someone I know who is dealing with grief from the deaths of two family members a few months ago. I think she'll appreciate the stories, discussions, etc.

I appreciated the link too, swift. I'm in the process of losing my remaining parent, and third family member in about three years. Doesn't get any easier, but sometimes little things can help.

I grew up in a funeral home as the son and grandson of two wonderful funeral directors. Grief and death were constant in my home. My family never covered up the facts of life (and death) and we were raised to understand that all of us are only here for a short while. Day to day, we make the best of it as we can.

This site is an excellent resource and I'll be passing it along to the rest of my family. Thanks.

Doesn't anyone else find the front-page offer -- pay $19.99 and they'll send you comforting personalized e-mails for three months -- exploitative and depressing? If I were mourning a loved one, I'd think that automated bulk e-mails would hardly be a comfort -- especially knowing I'd had to cough up cash for them.

Ha argy

Didn't see that. You're right though.

I would be in the process of losing my remaining parent if only she'd stop letting the dogs taste her food first.

I'm burning through lots of small dogs, though, so at least there is that .
