I googled it trying to find other references/opinions on this subject on the net. I ran into a lot of stuff re: Kirch's controversial decision to auction the broadcast rights, but nothing about the broadcast ban. Kirch's own website isn't very enlightening either! If you have any other reference on the subject, please share.

I'd be pissed if I hadn't tried watching streaming live soccer matches on the net before. Postage stamp size and poor quality. Ick!
