Needs more E. Honda. Nothing takes apart a junker like the Hundred Hand Slap.

That real life version really disappointed me by not showing the owner's reaction. Oh, his car.

The owner would be there but someone threw a bunch of barrels at him.

I really hate to be "that guy", but...

The "Oh! My car!" guy is from the Super NES version of Final Fight. The arcade version (and other ports) uses the phrase "Oh! My God!" instead, but Nintendo of America insisted on the censorship. See both phrases in action in this YouTube video.

In Street Fighter II, nobody comments on the car's destruction. There's just a points tally and the game goes on. However, when the car smashing bonus round returned in Street Fighter IV, they added an achievement/trophy called "Oh! My Car!" for completing the round. For some reason, people associate the "Oh! My Car!" line with Street Fighter so much that Capcom eventually gave in and matched it up with the game. And, of course, Street Fighter and Final Fight have folded into each other over the years, now taking place in the same universe.

This has been today's dose of Comic Book Guy-style corrections.

I thought that was all explained in Super Street Fighter II Turbo Special Championship Edition Reloaded Platinum With Extra Cheese.

The YouTube comment to this effect is right, this is even more enjoyable at 1.5x speed. I don't know what else people were using that option for, but this is clearly the best possible use of it.

Oh, my bad! Where does one go to turn in his/her geek card? I'm, uh, asking for a friend.

I have, so far, resisted the urge to flag Servo5678's comment as fantastic, but I dunno if I'll be able to hold out much longer.

Outstanding comment Servo, but just to up the UHM, ACKSHULLY ante one more notch, Street Fighter and Final Fight have always been the same universe. Final Fight was originally called "Street Fighter II" but the name got changed on account of how different a game it turned out to be. Nonetheless, it was always part of the lore that Zangief got his spinning lariat move from watching Mike Haggar's old matches.

Loved these car videos, was delighted to see there's apparently a whole tradition of people Street Fighter cosplaying and punching cars. Was also delighted with the generosity of Youtube's related videos algorithm, reminding me of a dear old favorite: Zangief Kid.

Say what you will about Mike Haggar's tenure as mayor, at the very least he knew how to get things done.

I'm a fan of Final Fight. I like to disregard the story-line about Haggars daughter being kidnapped and just imagine that its a game where you just walk down the street senselessly brutalizing everyone you see.

srsly though I would vote for Mike Haggar. I'm skeptical about his stance on vigilantism (though I'm open to persuasion), but nevertheless, given his clear and clearly expressed opinions about private automobile transportation, I'm pretty sure we see eye to eye on transit issues.

I feel like the damage done in real life is mainly done by twisting and pulling, which is clearly not the same as punching and kicking. Ergo, Street Fighter 2 and/or Final Fight is/are better than reality.

His policy of randomly dropping whole roast-turkeys for people to eat was a real boost to the city's homeless population.

It's a classic example of a joined-up social policy. Pick up the trash can, beat the Mad Gears gang member with the trash can, generate turkey dinner. Crime down, hunger down, 1UP.
