Self-described "butch queen" and gleeful gender-nonconformist AB SOTO brings the sparkly with his new song and video Cha Cha Bitch. It's got a beat; you can dance to it.
A friend sent me that video the other day and I was expecting to be faux-offended that he thought I'd like it but I ended up really liking it.

If these aren't the new cheerleaders for the San Antonio Spurs soon, well, then, I just don't know what to do.

My mom is hilarious. She is super sweet, energetic, and always cracking jokes. She loves to dress up and tell me all about her fashionz. Every time I come over she'll show me all the different outfits she wore during the week. It's the cutest thing. When I was in college I took her to get her navel pierced. She even wanted to get the same gay rainbow tattoo I have but I wouldn't let her. The last time we were at Starbucks and the barista asked for her name she said "Jennifer Lopez." It was everything!I love AB Soto's mom.

San Antonio isn't ready for this.
And for me the song was repetitive and blah. Sparkly though.

Yes, but it bothers me all too much that that beat is a samba, not a cha cha.

Fair. Still, compared to his previous output (which also has unabashedly candy-colored visuals and in-your-face club kid homotude), the songwriting has taken a quantum leap forward.
