Watch this completely a capella cover of "Hotel California".
I completely missed the obvious post title.... Welcome to the Hotel A Capella....
Maybe a mod can get in there and do a fixup.

I've sung that guitar part many times myself. That dude is a lot better!

I'm not the biggest fan of pop a cappella groups, even though I appreciate what it takes musically. But that big guitar solo in particular made me smile.
(Also, "Some dance to remember ..." is one of my favorite Henley lyrics, along with "Deadhead sticker on a Cadillac.")

I had to watch closely to confirm they weren't sneaking a kazoo in there somehow.

YT has their "Every Breath You Take" too. I like.

The wimp link doesn't name the group. It's Vocal Sampling.

Hotel California - one star
"This could be heaven, or this could be hell," observed my companion, scanning the menu's "Welcome from your Captain!". After waiting fruitlessly for half hour we called up our "captain" and asked if he could at least please bring me my wine: upon which we were told "We haven't had that spirit here since 1969". Apparently our Captain was ignorant both of the distinction between wines and spirits and the presence of the former on his own wine list. No wine! This in spitting distance of the Napa Valley - surely a drink to remember; some drink to forget! I pointed out that if he merely raised his eyes to the mirror on the ceiling he could see pink champagne on ice at the next table.
My companion suggested that our "Captain" was all too familiar with the location of the spirits: I was headed for the door.

Somehow they managed to achieve what I think I sound like in my head when I do this in the car all alone.

One of my favorite things ever is The Moog Cookbook's goofy, all-synth version of Hotel California.

Oh good, someone else sings like that in the car when it comes on. I thought I might be the only one (who would admit to it, anyway).

In 2003 or so Mrs. Plinth and I were going to visit her folks and picked up a college radio station that had an a cappella show and they had the Tufts Beelzebubs doing Crazy Train, which is a little more post-processed than I like my a cappella, but still pretty amazing. They also played "I'm Sorry (The PMS Song)" by Stanford Mixed Company, and nearly had to pull over from laughing during the bridge.

I turned off the radio. I wanted no faux-reggae rhythm sections. I wanted no duelling Les Pauls. No airbrushed, coke-polished harmonies. I wanted no sly digs at Don and Walt, no 6/12 twin neck guitars sounding profound. I wanted complete silence as I cruised down my public thoroughfare of choice. A complete absence, if you will, of any and all instrumentality.
But still, those voices were calling from far away.
