Paul Robertson has previously been featured for his short pixel-art movies, Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle Street Fight (2006, downloading this took me quite a while IIRC) and Kings of Power 4 Billion% (2008), and various small things through the years.

Paul Robertson is brilliant and kind of nuts. He also has, very recently, done stuff for Adult Swim's Rick & Morty promos, along with pixel animation in 2 episodes of Gravity Falls.

Oh man, so many good in-jokes, but I think "Stoney" and "Toadey" are my favorites for the Neighbours-Pokemon mash-up I never knew I needed.

All of these are amazing (I was going to post an FPP too!) but I wish there was one that was magpie-themed. The puns are spot-on.

This is probably not how starters work but I want Flamingalaa as my starter.

Someone on one of the Twitter replies pointed out the lack of drop bears and OMG. TRUE. If they made a Bundaberg Ginger Drop Bear I would die.

There was a suggestion for a Centrelink pokemon, which makes me wonder if we should also have ATO and Medicare in there in the Zomg Bureaucracy set. (Bonus Stopboats.)

Whoever made the Skin Cancer Council public-service TV ads this is riffing off didn't know that (or ignored it), and so it's Slipp Slopp Slapp.

I appreciate the dedication to type diversity and making sure, like the existing pokemon games, that there's some truly terrible ideas mixed in with the great ones
