Rush Limbaugh whines about Ozzy Osbourne Rush calls Ozzy a brain-fried, maggot-infested, dope-smoking, long-haired, purple-finger nailed, multi-colored hair, FM type. Hey, that maggot comment isn't true.

Hey, it's something to laugh at between the war, pipe bombs and coporate scams.

"FM type"? Is somebody a wittle bitter he's out in the wasteland of AM radio?

File this under "pitiful attempts to revive waining popularity by latching onto a hotter meme."

Was Rush at the soiree? Or, is somebody a "wittle bitter" cuz he wasn't invited?

"you know what they say about politics - it's show biz for the ugly."

Great joke, Mr. "Face made for radio."

He'd be the first.

I can't remember where I read it, here or somewhere, but The Osbournes will be closed-captioned. FYI, tonight is the season finale. :(

operation or no operation, i'm sure he's not listening to any dissenting opinions

Ooh, FM-type. That's gotta hurt.

Rush Limbaugh is a blatherskite. Limbaugh is desperate for any kind of attention, and fighting the inevitability of a younger conservative mouth-piece replacing him soon.
(not a "liberal slant" - I'm neither liberal or conservative...)

It is funny when an entertainer that is facing the loss of their fame attacks another, more popular entertainer. I believe Limbaugh is more jealous that Mr. Osbourne continues to find ways of being culturally relevant.

Damn. There goes all my "sweaty fat washed up radio has-been" jokes. He looks damn svelte in that pic!

I was caught at work during the day a few weeks back and someone piped Rush over speaker system in our office ... one of his advertisers was hawking a product called "Enzyte" (sp?) -- a pill for insecure men with small penises.

Sometimes, the jokes just write themselves.

Tonight's episode was easily the best one yet. Simply brilliant.

In this case, Rush is right. Ozzy is a moron and buffoon.

Yup, no one would deny that. However, he is still heads above Rush. I assume you meant Rush was correct. Everyone knows he is waaaayyyy right, and a damned liar.

It's a joke, but you know what they say about politics - it's show biz for the ugly. Many people in politics are Hollywood wannabes. Of course, the problem is Ozzy Osbourne isn't exactly a looker. So that little philosophy has also been brought into question by all this.

And all the loudest ties in the world couldn't save pumpkinhead's own TV show from prompt cancellation, and he didn't get that monday nite football job either. Not that Rush is prone to bitterness or envy. He's far too pompous for that...

ozzy may be fried, but he's also sincere, a quality completely foreign to the fat-headed idealogue, who's made a career out of armchair kneeejerk conservative blather. He's the Republican Pied Piper, delivering the unlikely trailer park vote to the GOP.

Metafilter whines about Rush Limbaugh MeFi calls Rush a bitter, fading, deaf, fat, fascist moron. Hey, that fat comment isn't true.

"Hello, kettle? This is the pot. You're black."

Since the show'll be close captioned, I guess that means Rush will actually be able to read what he's blasting, since he probably can't hear a word of it.

Wow, this is a shock coming from a person in the leftist MeFi crowd. </SARCASM>

Wait a minute, do some of you actually think the show's popularity is from the intelligent dialogue? I love Ozzy's music, but you can't tell me he doesn't sound like everything Rush is describing here. Well, then some of you have lived through the 60's Sorry, forget I mentioned it.

Wait, wait...how is FM an insult?

In the late 60s to mid 70s, all the big music stations were AM. Only the most counter-culture and obscure music was broadcast on FM due to FM's comparatively limited range. It wasn't considered a 'genuine' form of radio until later - rather like Internet radio in the late 90s.
