Beautiful photos, but not quite accurate for him to describe the landscape as "untouched" when so many of the photos are showing yurts, livestock grazing, or landscapes shaped by grazing. There are plenty of anthropogenic impacts, just not a lot of infrastructure.

I took a very similar set of photos last week. We were about 20 minutes outside Minneapolis, near the Farmington Walmart, and the mountainous vistas just opened up before us. Well you can just imagine how shocked we were. I'll see if I can find them, they've got to be around here somewhere...

Yeah, his photography is better than his rather overblown prose. He used the words "crazy" and "intimate" a few too many times, too.
