Wow, thank you for introducing me to People Watching. I'd never heard of it before now and the two i've watched thus far are truly excellent in unexpected ways. Will keep watching over the weekend!

Hey, I finally watched one where I didn't cry! I mean, I almost cried, but I didn't! *still watching*

Got through them all. A quick google tells me that season 2 is only halfway done, so I'll check back in a month or so and watch the rest.

Thanks! That was a worthwhile binge of media! Much to think about and very well spoken and emotionally effective (to put it mildly).

I thought about writing to one of my old teachers who said that my brain wasn't "right" for college when I graduated from college, but decided not to. He had retired only a year or two prior and I thought that getting a letter like that would hurt him almost as much as his words had hurt me.

I did, however, invite my 5th grade teacher to graduation and she came.

I'm 51 and talk to my 1st grade teacher a few times a year. She is an amazing person!

I miss all my old teachers, even the ones who seemed mean and grumpy. Some of my elementary school teachers would be in their 100s by now. They were hard-working women who trudged through storms early to get their various one-room schools (before my time) warm and ready for the local kids wandering in. I can't write letters to the ladies who taught me how to write letters, but I am collecting information to put up on the internet so other people can read about them.

Rowntree's webcomic Subnormality is also excellent.
