I liked the first one a lot. The JD footage in the second is "Transmission" ...

I too would like to hear mashups, Grangousier. But the Russ Abbot visuals to the Joy Division song were very nicely matched up.

I have seen one of these performed live: unfortunately it wasn't Joy Division.

I can never remember if the Stewart Lee joke is: "I want 'Atmosphere' at my funeral... The Russ Abbot version, obviously" or "I want Joy Division's 'Atmosphere' at my funeral followed by The Russ Abbot version, of course."

The Joy Division audio with the B&W Russ Abbot video really highlights how creepy that old guy is in a room full of teenagers.

Russ Abbot? Fixture of 80s British TV light entertainment and comedy. Pretty much a byword for naffness my entire lifetime.
