Lol...one of those books should definitely be this one (Marie Curie's radioactive notebook) from the previous fpp of historical objects.

I don't think anyone has ever estimated how many people Marie Curie directly killed with the nuclear material she spread all over herself, her still-contaminated house south of Paris, and whatever places she happened to travel through. Seriously, she walked around with test tubes of radium and polonium in her pockets spreading contamination wherever she went.
