He went from bro-asshole correspondent on The Daily Show to AlexJonesMeetsColbertReport for Comedy Central, but Jordan Klepper's new series Klepper is unlike anything ever seen before. A docuseries which explores issues from the inside, and maybe gets a white guy to weaponize his privilege on behalf of his subjects.
Previews for each of the season's episodes [5-8m each]:
Wrestling PTSD
Battle In The Bayou
Underground University*
Deported Fucking Vets
Invisible Nation
This Is My Gun, These Are My Rights
America First, Mars Next
The New Weed War
*this is the episode in which Jordan got arrested
Jordan reflects with HuffPo on this new series as the final Season One episode airs. And again with AV Club.
Here's Klepper talking to Larry Wilmore about the journey of his personae and career on Wilmore's Black On The Air podcast [1h13m]
Comedy Central has full episodes of the series (recommended, maybe region blocked), and also links to a podcast for each episode, probably not region blocked.

maybe region blocked
Confirmed region-blocked from Australia. Fortunately rarbg and tpb interpret region blocking as censorship and route around it.

I really like Klepper. Not just the show but the person. He's grumpy and hates camping and yet he goes out and does these pieces and makes a fool of himself.
And there's Bill Nye, so.
I just wish the show would get more YouTube views/likes - this is heavy content, and at times depressing - but I hope they continue to season 2.

a white guy to weaponize his privilege on behalf of his subjects.I'd much rather a white guy use his privilege to elevate someone who is queer or black or brown or trans or female to a position where they can speak on behalf of themselves.
We really do not need another white comedian on television. I mean Wyatt Cenac just had his HBO series Problem Areas cancelled after two seasons. The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore was also cancelled after two seasons.
I'm glad Jordan is doing his thing and I don't deny that he's smart, humorous, & capable. But I'm just so tired of white guys getting all the opportunity in the world, they just consume all of the oxygen and there's not that much left for other minority groups that I'd rather see on TV.
*sighs*
