Excellent special. Glad to see Brooker back to doing some comedy. I think he was quite right we don't need more Black Mirror right now we're busy living it.

It was a pleasure to see Barry Shitpeas prominently again, I felt he had been underutilized in the more recent Philomena Cunk specials.

Cunk, as always, is a treasure.

I really needed this, thank you for posting. I haven't had a chance to actually laugh about this situation in a very long time, and this has me laughing loud enough i'm worried I'll wake my partner sleeping on a different floor. Tension release! Yay!

Honestly, haven't grown up in my formative years watching Monty Python in various forms (tv, films, whatever) over and over and over and over and over and over and over...

I don't know how I ever find anything funny that isn't delivered in that utterly dry British tone.

My husbear recently put on Monty Python And The Holy Grail and I told him when he selected it "you do realize I have this movie memorized, right?" and he sort of nodded and laughed a bit... I think by about the 30 minute mark he was realizing that perhaps he should have not embarked on this particular exercise in my deeply burned memory pool.

Leave it running, turn the sound off, and make 'em watch you do the voices. Use plastic cups as coconuts, foley the whole thing. Vamp up Castle Anthrax.

This wasn't tonight, it was a few weeks ago. He was both amused and horrified. I was also, too, a bit. I didn't realize how much it was.. a... part of me.

Some TV bits are, too. Not so much the other films. But that dry delivery... that is what the thing is, I think. And it is so present in this video.

The thing that delights me is that this is the same brain who thought up the San Junipero episode of BLACK MIRROR.

Always fun to see how successful PC Zone's staff cartoonist has become.

Also Diane Morgan's amazing, but seemed like she was having a hell of a time making Philomena Cunk worse than the regular "non-satirical" news right now. Shrinking doctors and injecting them to fight the virus is really only comparably stupid to getting sunlight into the body. Poe's law has taken over the world.

For those catching up with Mr Brooker's output, the TV Go Home archive is well worth a peruse. (I miss that internet)
