Well, that was creepy as fuck.

I thought it was great. Maybe my uncanny valley is located slightly to the west of jscalzi's.

Well, many of our personal uncanny valleys are not aligned with Jimmy Kimmel's. After all, nearly everybody loves Tom Hanks but not his CGI'd performance in "Polar Express".

Is Kimmel aging faster than the rest of us? Because that is some cringe Boomer material right there.

This kinda lost me when it got to the animated Mount Rushmore, if you have to include a monument to white supremacy, either blow it up or say something more meaningful than a jaunty little song.

Nice bit carting off the talking Trump portrait.

It was definitely weird and slightly creepy and I liked it.

So creepy. Can not bear to watch again.

Also, the kiddie outro was kind of appropriate/interesting/made me feel solidarity while he was broadcasting from home, but now it just feels like he's so into his kids/family that he's probably not in tune with other things... but hey, he can be that guy if he wants to. There's a place for that guy. That perspective can move people to do good things.

Arrangement in Grey and Black No. 1 felt weirdly out of place here, like Yo-Yo Ma doing a Super Bowl halftime show.

Kimmel's other goodbye to Trump was a much more fitting farewell, and it didn't minimize what a threat he was.

I thought it was neat. Kimmel has turned out to be a lot more funny and benign than I ever would have suspected in his Man Show days.

biogeo: "It was definitely weird and slightly creepy "

In short, a fitting farewell.

IDK benzenedream, that just felt like it was making out the republicans as having been snowed in by Trump, when that was really not the case.

I think if it was lower quality it wouldn't be as creepy.
I thought it was hilarious, though!
