Those two have been married a long old time. They neither of them can do this simple task, and it's embarrassing, and the pie is getting cold, but they can still live with themselves and each other when they eventually get home. My aged in-laws had a pact that they wouldn't grass each other up to their grown up descendants when one or other of them had a trip-and-fall or kettle-scald.

This is one of my favorite youtube videos. I remember laughing so hard and watching it like 20 times when it came out. It shocked me that it didn't go viral at the time. It still makes me laugh even now!

There's a second secret layer of humor in this provided by the automatically generated captions.

That's some tough adjectiving right there. Baked ties its vowel sound to flaky and buttery to crust, so there is, I think, an urge for the more melodious baked in a flaky buttery crust, but we do tend to place the taste oriented adjective first, like, say salty charred meat or sugary powered topping, so there is some conflicting desire in arrangement of the phrase that's tripping Dan up, so he reaches for the alliteration of crispy and crust. The poor guy's just a poet at heart and can't help it.

Because it's full of things that are only correct because they're grammatical, but they're tough on the ear. You see, this is a very wearying one. It's unpleasant to read. Unrewarding.

If you ever find yourself up in my neck of the woods, Dysart's is worth a stop, both for the truck stop atmosphere, and the home-style food !

Dysart's held a Trump campaign rally and hosted Mike Pence.

I used to look forward to eating a slice of Dysart's raspberry pie every time I was near Bangor, but given their politics it will be a very long time before I ever go back there again.

I was starting to feel really bad for the guy, especially as she started snapping at him (even though she was ruining every take too by silently mouthing his line while he struggled through it).

The relief in his face when she screwed up the line too salvaged it for me (and probably for him too)

I don't know how you caught that video of my parents, but thank you.
