I love this!
Also, I find that zombie invasion goes well with just about everything else. Playground? The kids are still playing when the outbreak pours onto the streets. Office? You're in a third floor office when the chaos breaks out down below. Church bells? Just ominous. Construction? They're desperately trying construct barricades. Spaceship? The alien invaders probably caused this. Volcano? Sure, why not, it's the apocalypse after all.

If you play the zombie invasion and the marching band at the same volume it sounds like a really big protest march, with a lot of distant hollering and a drum circle. (Shouldn't a zombie invasion have more undead voices groaning for braaains? I feel the zombies themselves were under-represented!)

Coffeeshop+Crime Scene+Train Station+Traffic+Couple Arguing+ Construction is kind of nice if you've, say, been spending too much time in your much too quiet suburban house and you're looking for "City" on the cheap.
(I just returned from a long-ish stay in New York, and it's weird how much you can miss noise when you return to its absence)

Context is really awesome here because campfire by itself is very relaxing, but campfire + nuclear siren + crime scene is downright apocalyptic.

I'm actually in the hospital right now, so for the heck of it I hit the "Hospital" button. It was really convincing!
I turned it off after a minute, though, for fear of disappearing down some sort of recursive loop.
