The Washington Post corrects, removes parts of two stories regarding the Steele dossier, trying to link Trump with Russia. Those stories were awarded the 2018 Pulitzer Prize.

This post was deleted for the following reason: The info about the two stories winning Pulitzers isn't accurate (it looks like one 2017 article did, among 20, but the 2019 one def did not win 2018 Pulitzer), and this bit seems sort of added on as a "gotcha" type thing. A post about this is fine, but let's not start off with misinfo messiness to get everyone riled. -- taz

The "Pee-Pee Tape" was always the thing I have always thought the least likely thing in the Steele Dossier to be real. Trump has been very openly a germaphobe, until 'it's just a cold' Covid. But it sure did allow a lot of outlets to avoid doing any real investigation into his business dealings with a number of questionable Russian persons and entities. That took much longer that it might have otherwise and did not get the press it should have. For one of the deeper slogs through Trumpland there is Trump, Inc. a podcast from WNYC and ProPublica.

As to WaPo and their reporters; they should give the Pulitzer back and apologize to Donald Trump. Words that I never thought I would think or say. Talk about life as a (string of expletives removed) farce.
