David Adamsen is a woodworker out of Maine, with a delightful YubTub channel full of vids showing how his luxurious woodturning creations come into being. Come for the delicious wood art, stay for the soothing and wordlessly meditative twenty minute vids of blurs turning into shapes and wood shavings.

Olivier Gomis (I could have sworn there was a previously) is similarly delightful.

There was a video of a cooper, a master barrel maker, a while back.

These are lovely, but uh does someone posting a 'subscribe to PewDiePie' meme in 2020 (17:00 in the second video) have plausible deniability of not being a racist/white supremacist sympathizer?

Adamsen's social media is 99% woodshop content and 1% pictures of his dog or the Maine landscape - one of the things I like about his vids are the near-complete lack of commentary. I didn't catch the one mention of PewDiePie in one video for a second, but I think it's a bit of a stretch to use that as a springboard to 'probably a nazi'. As far as a few different searches show, there's no association between the two.

Fair enough, and sorry for the potential derail. I just happened to catch it scrubbing through the videos and was worried about a milkshake duck situation! I mentioned the posted on date simply because PewDiePie himself had long since disavowed the meme after the Christchurch attack before this video was posted. I considered that It's entirely possible the video was recorded before then, posted later, and in no way intended as a dog-whistle, so I'm glad to hear there are no other red-flags in his content!
