For people who want cute emu content without the racism or the cavalier approach to disease, I recommend this twitter account. More links to specific emu posts inside.

They take preventing the spread of bird flu very seriously, not least because they're a wildlife rehabilitator.

Emus enjoying being gently sprayed with a hose. (Something the emus frequently beg for: "No matter how stealthy I try to be, doing washing chores outside summons every emu instantly. I penned myself away from them and they all flopped right outside the fencing, begging for baths.")

I find this slightly eponysterical and I won't be convinced otherwise.

Thanks for the good and timely post!

Are most emus racist? Do you mean Imus?

Abehammerb Lincoln, Taylor Blake, who is a completely different person who posts about emus on social media, is currently being discussed a lot for her very recent cavalier approach to bird flu, and her less-recent racist posts.

A search for emus and racism also turns up stuff about a university abbreviated EMU.

The original doorbell link (which may have been Instagram, as I can't find it) was painfully hilarious. Emus have weaponized peskiness, and they never give up.

Emmanuel is a pet, right? He's a pet. If someone told me I couldn't cuddle my sick dog or I had to kill him to save humanity and that not doing so was cavalier... Look, we're not Vulcans.

Well I found some racist EMU content but I don't see the relevance?

I had many friends and family attend EMU.

Perhaps you should read the Story.
